Mass. residents sickened in multi-state salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers
Nearly a dozen Massachusetts residents have become ill as part of a multi-state salmonella outbreak that has been linked to Florida-grown cucumbers. Between March and June of this year, nearly 450 people across 31 states and Washington D.C. have become sick as part of the outbreak, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Of those who became ill because of the bacteria, 125 have been hospitalized.
