Rensselaer man gets 24 years in prison for fatal shooting
A Rensselaer man was sentenced to 24 years in prison Wednesday for killing a Troy man in 2023. Jahteek Sanchez, 17, had pleaded guilty in May to manslaughter for shooting and killing 39-year-old Alexander Crawford on July 2, 2023 in front of Family Dollar in North Troy, the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office said.
