HOUSTON — As Houstonians recover from Beryl’s impact, the Salvation Army has established local command post locations and deployed mobile kitchens to the area. The Salvation Army announced Tuesday that its Incident management team would be based at the organization’s “disaster warehouse” in Houston with a second operation established in Wharton. A South Baptist Texas Convention Disaster Response kitchen will handle the preparation and cooking of all meals in both locations, according to a media release.
