The Melt Bringing Grilled Cheese Delight to Brea

The Melt, renowned for its gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and mouth-watering MeltBurgers, is set to open a new location at Brea Mall, records show. The store will be located at 1065 Brea Mall Bldg D Ste 1420 and will join a list of new tenants at the shopping complex.

Brea Mall’s expanding roster of dining and retail choices includes other businesses, including  WinWings, Philz Coffee, UNTUCKit, Levi’s, LoveSac, and Din Tai Fung. Simon Property Group is revitalizing the center, transforming the now-closed Sears and part of the parking lot to make way for the additional options.

A fast-casual eatery founded in San Francisco, The Melt sent in new construction building plans to the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division in June for a 2,000- to 5,999-square-foot-eatery. Those are listed as “plans received”.

“We are excited to open in Brea,” Sean Reiter, Director of Brand Revenue, told the publication.

The Melt is a technology-driven, quick-service concept for cheese lovers. The menu features a variety of delicious options, including the classic grilled cheese sandwich, homemade mac & cheese, crispy fries, and its famous MeltBurger.
