An lifelong Atlantic City resident who has spent the last decade serving various positions with the city's Boys & Girls Club will start steering the ship next month

Tracey Triniwell was appointed the club's chief executive officer effective Aug. 26.

She already has proven her passion for the club, "its mission and the community we serve," said Board of Directors Chairman Stephen Clark.

"During her tenure, Tracey’s service to the club has included stints on the Executive Committee, chairing the Program Committee and serving on Governance, Finance and Development Committees, as well as being the club’s area council liaison to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America,” Clark said. “Tracey’s knowledge of the club and her relationships in the community, combined with demonstrated strong leadership skills and a record of producing results, will play a pivotal role in driving our organization forward and fostering positive change within the community we serve.”

Triniwell spent comes from more than a decade with AtlantiCare, where her roles have continued to grow.

Most recently, she served more than three years as administrative director of AtlantiCare’s Women’s and Children’s Service Line, which provides family planning, gynecologic oncology, maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, safe beginnings and urogynecology directly to the Atlantic City community.

Previous roles in compliance, audit and consulting provided Triniwell with skill sets that include planning accounting, and risk assessment. These will all add to her service as club CEO.

“As a lifelong resident of Atlantic City, I have seen the transformative power of community engagement on our youth,” she said. “I am incredibly honored to lead this impactful organization that has been a cornerstone of support for our community for 55 years. Together with our dedicated team, we will continue to inspire, empower, and nurture the next generation of leaders hailing from Atlantic County.”

Triniwell earned a bachelors in business administration/accounting from Howard University. She then went on to graduate Rutgers University-Camden with a masters in accounting.

She currently serves on the boards of the Brayces Smile for a Lifetime Foundation, and O.C.E.A.N. Inc.

Tracey was a 2021 inductee to the Atlantic County Women’s Hall of Fame and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., The Links and Jack and Jill of America.

I second the other responses here if she’s affiliated with the smalls in anyway, if she has attended any of their banquets parties, etc. she’s gotta go, but if she’s one of the good ones, which I’ll do my research, her qualifications seem to be good but it’s you surround yourself with that really shows who you are
