Police activity blocked Atlantic City street for hours

An Atlantic City street was blocked off for hours after what started out as a domestic violence call, BreakingAC has learned.

The area Ventnor Avenue between Raleigh and Delancy avenues was blocked off since before 7:30 a.m., witnesses said.

Police have not answered multiple requests for comment.

Response to the scene included members of the Atlantic City SWAT team and the city's armored BearCat vehicle.

The scene was being cleared around 10:30 a.m.
