PARIS (WNDU/AP) - Notre Dame graduate Lee Kiefer defended her gold medal in women’s foil in a historic final bout on Sunday at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Kiefer defeated fellow American Lauren Scruggs 15-6 in the first all-U.S. final in an Olympic fencing event since 2008, according to the Associated Press.

(WNDU) - The rising sport of pickleball continues to take over the Michiana area, as a charity pickleball tournament was held on Saturday to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor. The tournament was held at the South Bend Racquet Club, with players from all skill groups coming to play. 55 teams were split up into three different levels of beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
