Authorities seeks help after vandals damage boat launch in Acton
ACTON (WGME) -- The York County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help identifying the suspects who damaged a state boat launch in Acton on Monday night. Authorities say the suspect(s) tore up the gravel parking lot and ran into the stop sign at the top of the Square Pond state boat launch.

A memorial traveling across the country honoring Vietnam veterans lands in Guilford
WATERVILLE/GUILFORD -- Around 100 veterans and supporters alike fell in line and rode together to escort the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall from Waterville to Guilford. Maine’s Community Colleges Receive Largest Workforce Grant in History
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - The Harold Alfond Foundation is giving more than $75 million to the Maine Community College System. This is the biggest workforce grant in the history of Maine’s seven Community Colleges. Throughout the state of Maine, there is currently a shortage of skilled workers. In an effort to address this shortage the Harold Alfond Foundation is investing 75 million dollars in grant money to the Maine Community College System. This grant will affect more than 70,000 workforce students over the next five years. Bringing the total funds this foundation has donated over the last six years to nearly $100 million.
