Bangor police host 'Summer Sleuth Series,' connecting community, local businesses through scavenger hunt
BANGOR, Maine — Whether it's a speeding ticket or putting somebody in handcuffs, police officers are used to giving the bad news. But this summer, Officer Elizabeth Ashe with Bangor police is giving the community a way to connect with the department and the city's many local businesses through the "Summer Sleuth Series."
57th Yarmouth Clam Festival was a success
YARMOUTH, ME- The 57th annual Yarmouth Clam Festival is a vibrant celebration, drawing crowds from near and far to partake in a variety of activities and culinary delights. Alna’s tax rate rises
Alna selectmen Monday night set this year’s tax rate at $23.35 per $1,000 of assessed valuation — the second year in a row the rate has hiked.
