“South of the Square Block Rally” donates to remembering our heros
BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The “South of the Square Block Rally” was held at Schines Art Park on June 28. Forty businesses sponsored the event that benefited Remembering Our Heroes. Remembering Our Heroes’ purpose is to help veterans in Crawford County by providing wheelchair ramps, purchasing medications, providing housing, utilities, wheelchairs, food, etc. The Foundation was started 10 years ago by Tommy Starner, a 22-year veteran along with his wife Lori Starner. Accepting a donation in the amount of $4,000 was Lori and Tommy Starner, founders of Remembering Our Heroes.
Massive drop in Columbus Blue Jackets asking price for Patrik Laine
Laine is currently in the NHLPA Player Assistance Program, and prior to entering, he had requested a trade. GM Don Waddell has been working the phones over the last few weeks trying to put together the best deal possible for Laine.
