Let's ensure Bremerton's Bridge Blast keeps going

I am fortunate enough to have a front row seat for the annual Bremerton Bridge Blast, as I live in Manette. But as you know you do not have to live in Manette to enjoy this outstanding fireworks display. The streets were filled with cars Saturday, not a parking spot to be found. The water had boats on both sides of the bridge. Many Bremertonians and Kitsapers enjoyed this spectacle that very generous Kitsap businesses sponsored.

I want the sponsors to know how very much their community spirit is appreciated. I am aware that this costs thousands of dollars, so what my daughter and I are suggesting is more of a community effort, perhaps a Go Fund Me where we, the public, could contribute to this event. And to make it even more appealing, a "match me" condition for the sponsors contributing. This would ensure that we would be able to continue to enjoy this wonderful evening and not let the cost land solely on the hands of local businesses.
