Children’s Health℠, one of the largest and most prestigious pediatric health care providers in the country and the leading pediatric health care system in North Texas, is pleased to announce that Foremost Family Health Centers, a federally qualified health center with two locations, has joined the Children’s Health Care Network. The membership, which includes Martin Luther King Family Clinic in southern Dallas and Foremost Family Health Centers in Balch Springs, will enable Children’s Health and Foremost Family Health Centers to provide greater access to dental, behavioral health, and preventative care for children in Dallas.
“Foremost Family Health Centers are a fixture in their communities, providing affordable family health care to underserved communities,” said Dr. Stormee Williams, Vice President and Medical Director of Network Development and Innovation at Children’s Health. “Foremost Family Health Centers’ membership in Children’s Health Care Network is particularly significant as it strengthens our ability to provide high-quality pediatric health care services to the children of southern Dallas, particularly patients with complex care needs.”
The Children’s Health Care Network is a trusted community of pediatric health, wellness, and acute care resources offering more services to children in more places than ever before. The collaborative network, in conjunction with Children’s Health, offers a diverse set of health care resources across the region and includes community physicians, integrated behavioral health programs, pediatric specialists, federally qualified health centers, primary care practices, wellness programs, urgent cares, and more.
“Children’s Health is our region’s top pediatric health care system whose sole mission is to make life better for children, and we are honored to join its Children’s Health Care Network,” said Joyce Tapley, CEO of Foremost Family Health Centers. “While we have worked with Children’s Health for many years, we are excited to solidify our relationship with this agreement to further our work and improve the health of families we collectively serve by offering access to affordable, comprehensive health care.”
Additional members of the Children’s Health Care Network include: Pediatric Heart Specialists, Pediatric Cardiology Associates of Houston, Haven Behavioral Health Hospital of Frisco, Advance ER, Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Dallas, Privia Medical Group North Texas and MDMG Kids Pediatrics.
“Our collaboration with organizations in the community allows us to leverage our members’ expertise and strengthens our ability to serve the full range of pediatric health needs, ensuring children have fast access to our specialty programs when they need it and appropriate care close to home,” said Julie Hall-Barrow, Senior Vice President of Network Development and Innovation at Children’s Health. “Together with our network affiliates, we are creating an even more promising future for our patients, their families and our community.”
