*** WATCH *** BREWSTER CRASH SCENE: YOUNG MALE DRIVER IN CRITICAL CONDITION
BREWSTER, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN VIDEO NOTES] – The crash happened around 2:00 a.m. in the area of 419 Satucket Road in Brewster. A young male driver (appeared approximately in his late teens or 20s) was entrapped inside mangled wreckage after a rollover crash. Firefighters braced the vehicle and attempted to free the driver. Brewster police officers were also on hand assisting in the rescue effort. It was a lengthy extrication. Once extricated, the young man was placed on a stretcher and transported inside a Brewster FD ambulance to a field at Brewster Town Hall to meet a Boston Medflight helicopter. It took a while to stabilize the patient so he could fly. At one point, medics needed to initiate CPR, according to radio transmissions. The patient was eventually airlifted to an off-Cape trauma center in critical condition. Falmouth Bookkeeper Agrees to Plead Guilty to Embezzling Over $1.3 Million from Employer
A former bookkeeper from Falmouth is facing serious charges after agreeing to plead guilty for embezzling over $1.3 million from her employer, a flooring company. Susan Figuerido, 73, racked up significant charges including wire fraud and filing a false tax return, as reported by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Massachusetts. Although a plea hearing date is pending, the consequences she may face include up to 20 years in prison for wire fraud and another three years for the tax charge.
