https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=1s5nFh_0uUCJ21100 One local organization is making plans to celebrate going back to school with a special day of fun, food and activities. Wayne's Community Outreach Back2School Festival & Family Fun Day has been set for Saturday July 27 beginning at 10 a.m. The event will continue until 2 p.m. and will be held at 720 Sellers Street. Among the plans on the day of fun, the group will be giving away school supplies and backpacks students. The children must be present and parents must sign in if the student is 17 and under. There will be food for everyone as well as water activities, music, games, door prizes and so much more. The group is planning plenty of fun activities for the whole family! Attendees are invited to bring tents and lawn chairs to enjoy the day. Everyone invited to help give our community youth a great head start back to school. For additional information or to volunteer or donate to the cause, contact Christy at 251-363-5658 or Glenda Gantt at 334-467-4861.
