Fuel advisory notification for all of Alabama
TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - The Alabama Forestry Commission is reminding you to stay safe when cooking out this Fourth of July week. Dry conditions are making it easier to accidentally start fires. The forestry commission has issued a ‘fuel advisory notification’ for the state. The state has seen a three-fold increase in wildfires in three weeks.
One Hurt in DeKalb County Wreck on Tuesday Morning
One person was hurt in a single-vehicle accident, on Tuesday morning, in DeKalb County. According to the Alabama State Troopers Post, that wreck was on County Road 51 at approximately 6:35am, and involved a 2011 Nissan, driven by a Collinsville woman. Afterwards, she was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries.
