BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WV News) — A pair of budget revisions to close out the 2022-23 fiscal year lead off new business at Bridgeport City Council’s next regular meeting. Council members will consider reallocating $11,800 in revenues collected from the coal severance tax toward city attorney fees, and $3,000 in contingency funds from the current General Fund toward elections, printing, professional services and materials, according to City Manager Brian Newton.
