BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Drawing in vendors and attendees from all over the region, Backwoods Heritage Events returned to The Bridge on Saturday for the second annual Craft Bash.

The event was held on Saturday and welcomed 60 vendors who came to Bridgeport from multiple areas including the southern region of West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

The bash took place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and featured a variety of different handmade items including those of woodworking, baked goods, beauty supplies, home décor, novels, accessories and more.

Opening date announced for Clarksburg Five Below

Backwoods Heritage owners Kayla Zeigler and Holly Grubb spoke on why they chose to host an event like this.

“We actually started out as vendors ourselves, we did craft shows for about a year and a half, two years and so we just kind of took all our experience from that and started hosting our own shows,” said Grubb.

The duo plans to host two more upcoming craft shows within the region. One on Oct. 5 at Clinton District Firehall in Morgantown and another on Dec. 7 at The Bridge in Bridgeport. Both events are still accepting vendors and you can apply through the Backwoods Heritage Events website .
