Dustin’s First Alert Forecast: Summertime heat builds in this week
As we approach the end of the weekend, we will see another comfortable and tolerable day, with more sun than clouds. High temperatures will be in the 80s and lows in the mid-60s, with a slight increase in humidity. A few clouds will be along the coast, but most will stay away from the rain. Going into Monday and the upcoming week, the increased humidity will become noticeable in the afternoon, with high temperatures climbing to the low to mid-90s, feeling closer to 100°F. A mix of clouds and sunshine will start the week, then the typical pop-and-go shower and storm activity becomes the norm in the afternoon. Not each day will be a washout, but enough to give the yards more of a pop of green from Mother Nature. Overnight lows will also climb to the low to mid-70s, feeling very muggy and not as comfortable as this past week, with the nighttime temperatures in the lower 60s.
