High Times dispensary in Redding license suspended due to code violations
REDDING, Calif. — The High Times cannabis dispensary in Redding appears to be closed down due to a violation of their license. Several signs have been posted on the building asking customers to go to their City of Shasta Lake location instead, at 1550 Locust Ave, Shasta Lake. Several signs say the store is closed until further notice.
Willits man dies after rollover crash late Sunday night
WILLITS, Calif. — The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who died in a rollover crash on Valley Road near Willits this past weekend. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in the Garberville area, officers were called to a two-vehicle crash off Valley Road, east of Davidson Road, east of Willits, just after 11 p.m. on Sunday night, July 14. After investigating the crash, the CHP says a 1985 Toyota pickup truck, driven by Julian Franks, 30, of Willits, was traveling east on Bailey Road. They say the Toyota drifted partially into the westbound lane and sideswiped a 2022 Honda Accord, being driven by a 16-year-old girl.
