Salisbury small business awarded funding from Maryland initiative
SALISBURY, Md. – Funding is on the way for small businesses across Maryland. The Salisbury Dance Academy is just one of those local businesses getting help. Governor Wes Moore’s administration says it’s aiming to support local revitalization projects and activities on the Eastern Shore. 28 other businesses across Maryland will also receive the funding.

A Maryland board approved $148.3 million in state spending reductions on Wednesday to balance the budget while directing more money to pay for child care and Medicaid — two priorities that Democratic Gov. Detectives Investigating Wilmington Area WSFS Bank Robbery
The Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred yesterday afternoon at the WSFS Bank in Wilmington. On July 16, 2024, at approximately 2:51 p.m., troopers responded to the WSFS Bank, located at 4601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, for a report of a robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown white male suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to the bank teller. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Troopers attempted to locate the suspect in the surrounding area but were unable to find him.
