BETHLEHEM — Nonnewaug High School alum Jess Davis is heading to the 2024 Olympic Games to represent Team USA in the modern pentathlon. Davis hails from Bethlehem and punched her ticket to Paris after placing fourth in the modern pentathlon at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. She graduated from Nonnewaug in 2010 as a track and field star before attending Central Connecticut State University.

This property was purchased by Burt Process Equipment, headquartered at 100 Overlook Dr. Burt Process Equipment is a corporate resident of Hamden for over 20 years. With continued growth, Burt plans to expand at 900 Sherman Ave. to provide manufacturing and distribution facilities for its Precision Stainless Steel Process Solutions and Wastewater Systems businesses. Mayor Lauren Garrett said, “Burt Process Equipment has been a family-owned leader in water systems for over fifty years.
