The Rack Pack Relay for Life of Warren-Henderson Team is hosting their 2nd Annual Bags Tournament on Saturday, August 3rd. Team Member Michelle Marshall has the details:. “It is in Galesburg at the Reserve Artisan Ales, which is at 185 South Kellogg Street. We also have a food event coming. We have a pop-up event with Sugba Smokehouse. The actual event starts at 2 pm for registration and sign-in and then at 4 pm we will start the bags tournament. There will be a cash prize awarded to the first and second place teams. You can register by texting 309-299-2325. There is a pre-registration by July 27th, that just helps us know how many teams to plan for, but we will take registration at the sign-in at two o’clock on that Saturday.”

Man sentenced to 123 years for Bloomington murder
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WMBD) — A man was sentenced to more than 100 years in prison on Monday for the death of Jaleel Johnson in Oct. 2020. According to McLean County Circuit Court records, Malcolm J. Johnson, 31, was sentenced to serve 123 years in prison. That breaks down to 75 years for murder, 45 years for attempted murder and three years for obstructing justice.
