Brazilian pizza shop Ouro Pizzaria in Eat Street Crossing to close Friday

Ouro Pizzaria, a Brazilian pizza counter at Eat Street Crossing , has announced it will close on Friday or whenever it sells out of food.

The pizza shop was one of the Minneapolis food hall's original tenants when it opened in early 2023.

"We want to thank everyone that's been a part of the Ouro story," an announcement shared on Instagram reads. "This isn't goodbye forever, just goodbye for now. We are still dreaming about Brazilian food in Minneapolis, so this isn't the end."

Ouro is led by Bebe Zito owners Gabriella Grant-Spangler and Ben Spangler and known for adventurous combinations inspired by Grant-Spangler's Brazilian heritage.

The team has two other spots inside Eat Street Crossing, Bebe Zito Ice Cream and Bebe Zito Burgers+, in addition to Bebe Zito locations in Uptown, Malcolm Yards , and Woodbury .

"It's a hard day today," Ouro's statement continues, "but there will be brighter moments ahead."
