Missing Pine County man last seen leaving group home

Officials are asking for the public’s help to find a man last seen leaving a group home in Pine County Thursday morning.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a missing person alert for 39-year-old Levi Borg. He was last seen leaving his group home, located on the 27000 Block of Groningen Road in Sandstone, at around 10:30 a.m.

Borg does not have a phone with him, and staff at the home are concerned for his well being, according to the alert.

Borg last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and black shorts with a red design. He is described as white, standing at 6’ and weighing 187 pounds. He is bald with hazel eyes.

The BCA also encouraged residents in the area to check their properties ”in the event [Borg] is injured or confused.”
