Drunk-driver almost 4 times over the limit reverses into Chaska squad car

A woman was almost four times over the legal limit when she was arrested in Chaska after reversing into a police car on Sunday.

Chaska police officers responded around 6 p.m. on Sunday to a dangerous driving complaint, with witnesses saying an SUV was swerving across lanes, driving the wrong way, hitting curbs, and even ending up in someone's yard.

Police found the driver and began to conduct a traffic stop. The driver pulled over but, as the officer was in the street, reversed into the squad car. The officer was not injured, and no other injuries were reported.

The woman's blood-alcohol content taken at the scene was .285%. However, once she was in jail, her BAC was taken again, showing that it had gone up to .31%, almost four times the legal limit.
