An appeal has been issued to find the suspects who vandalized a Minnesota lawmaker's Rochester home with swastikas and other hate speech, causing thousands of dollars in property damage.

The home of Minnesota state representative Kim Hicks (DFL-25A) was vandalized with racist imagery on August 3, with Hicks posting photos of the aftermath to Facebook that weekend.

This week, Rochester PD released images of the masked suspects responsible.

Rochester Police says the incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 3, and Hicks contacted police later that morning.

"They are fear-mongering. They wore masks because they are ashamed of what they believe," Hicks wrote at the time.
