Minnesota State Fair's fashion must-have? An amusing 'statement' t-shirt

What are you wearing to the Minnesota State Fair?

Chances are you haven’t thought about it. You’ve probably planned how you are getting to the fair, what you’re eating once you get there, and how you’re going to spend your time.

But fashion? Who plans that?

As it turns out, it’s a thing.

Over the years, I’ve noticed a trend that involves wearing a "statement" t- shirt to the fair, which often have funny messages, slogans or images on them.

What sparked the trend is unknown, but if you check the various gift stands around the State Fairgrounds you can find a wide variety of funny t-shirts, which are quite often Minnesota-centric to boot.

So while I’m drawn most to the food of the Minnesota State Fair, my second most enjoyed activity is finding the best t-shirts on display. And shamelessly asking some of them if I can snap a photo.
