A 59-year-old gravel truck driver was killed in a collision with another semi in northwestern Minnesota Saturday evening.

Officers responded to the crash at Roseau County Road around 6:19 p.m. and found Richard Lee Hasbrouck, of Warroad, fatally injured.

Hasbrouck was driving a 2005 International Gravel Truck southbound on 530th Avenue when it was in a collision with an International Grain Truck going eastbound on County Road 12.

The two people in the grain truck, one of them an 11-year-old boy, were taken to Lifecare Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Neither the driver of the grain truck nor the 11-year-old boy were wearing a seat belt of the time. Hasbrouck was wearing one, the Minnesota State Patrol says.
