"The Golden Bachelorette" will have a familiar face to many Bachelor fans in its first season: Minnesota-raised Mark Anderson, whose daughter became engaged on the last season of "The Bachelor."

ABC announced the line-up in a new promotion for the first season.

Anderson, 57-year-old Army veteran, will be the the youngest contestant. He is already known to many of the the franchise's fans as "Kelsey's hot dad."

Anderson was first introduced to viewers back in Season 28 when his daughter, Kelsey Anderson took her now fiancé, Joey Graziadei, on a home-town date, introducing him (and us) to her father.

Anderson's wife, Denise, passed away in 2018 after battling breast cancer, and during Kelsey's hometown date, Mark shared photos of his daughter and his late wife with his future son-in-law.

"I watched 'The Golden Bachlor' and it was very inspiring," says Anderson during the ABC promo. "Knowing that Joan lost her husband, it's an understanding I have of what she went through."

Joan Vassos, the 61-year-old at the center of this inaugural season, was a contestant on the first season of "The Golden Bachelor." However, she left the show early due to a medical concern involving her daughter back at home.

Vassos was married for 32 years before her husband passed away and is a mother of four and grandmother of three.

"The Golden Bachlorette" will premiere on Sept. 18 on ABC and will be streaming on Hulu.
