Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King were in Minneapolis for Ellen Degeneres standup show

Saturday was a star-studded night in Minneapolis, where a standup show by Ellen Degeneres brought out two other big TV personalities: Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King.

The pair were spotted around town before and after the show at the Orpheum, where Degeneres performed the final engagements of her farewell comedy tour.

Oprah and King dined at Young Joni, where they posed with executive chef Ann Kim (pictured above), and after the show, reportedly had a party at Mara Restaurant and Bar (located in the Four Seasons hotel downtown) that lasted late into the night.

But it wasn't just a random dinner-and-a-show night for Oprah — because Ellen's final comedy tour has special significance for the former queen of daytime TV.

As journalist Richard Horgan notes, Degeneres came out to Oprah on the latter's talk show in 1997, while the comic's on-screen persona came out to a therapist played by Oprah in the hit sitcom "Ellen" that same year — both landmark moments in television:

Indeed, audience members say Oprah made a cameo at the Saturday show, a moment which earned "one of the loudest bits of applause" that night, according to local actor and journalist Aaron Booth:

Degeneres' 27-city comedy tour, called " Ellen's Last Stand... Up ," is touted as her final such outing. Her two shows in Minneapolis (one Friday, one Saturday) were the tour's last stops, and according to Live Nation , the two performances were filmed for an upcoming Netflix special.

Many of the engagements were sold out, including the Saturday show in Minneapolis.

Netflix says you'll be able to catch the special on the streaming platform "later this year."
