A Minnesota man was killed when he was ejected from his vehicle in northern Iowa on Sunday.

The Iowa State Patrol says Mark Claasen, 63, of Albert Lea, suffered fatal injuries in the crash on 200th Avenue near 485th Street in Scarville at 10:40 a.m.

The crash report says that Claasen "failed to negotiate a curve," and as a result left the road and rolled his vehicle several times.

Claasen, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the crash continues.
