The Odyssey Cinemas' Hollywood 12 theater in Rochester closed permanently Sunday after over two decades in business.

"This location is now permanently closed," a post on the theater's Facebook page reads. "Thank you for your past patronage and all of the memories!"

Bryan Sieve, president of Odyssey Cinemas, announced the closure back in early July, stating Odyssey Cinemas had chosen not to renew its lease at 2171 Superior Drive Northwest.

“We have cherished the opportunity to serve the Rochester community and are deeply grateful for the patronage and memories we’ve shared," Sieve said at the time, according to KTTC .

"It’s been an honor to be part of your entertainment experiences,”
