Authorities have identified the man who died after being shot at a Minneapolis homeless encampment earlier this week.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has confirmed that JaBraun Garron Hole, 33, died at Hennepin County Medical Center shortly after being found with a gunshot wound to the chest on the 3300 block of 3rd Avenue South.

Police say the incident happened at a homeless encampment on a vacant lot, and that a large fight broke out and spilled onto the street, where shots were fired.

Hole reportedly walked down the sidewalk and then collapsed.

Police continue to investigate the fight and shooting, and there have been no arrests made as of Thursday morning.

The encampment was cleared by police, but it has reportedly since relocated to just a few blocks away.
