Rainfall totals are starting to filter in following a night of damaging storms that brought torrential precipitation to the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.

Two rounds of severe weather hit the metro area, the first arriving around 7 p.m. Monday with another landing at 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The weather brought a deluge of rain that caused flooding problems at, among other places, the Minnesota State Fair, which canceled all live music and closed rides in response.
