Where has Guy Fieri been on his latest visit to Minnesota?

Guy Fieri is back in Minnesota, shooting a new episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and traipsing around other area food hubs.

The production keeps show locations under wraps, and it's probably a coincidence that he's here just as the Minnesota State Fair is taking place. However, he's still been spotted taking in a bit of the local food culture.

BMTN's Joe Nelson reports that Fieri dropped into Chef Gustavo Romero's heralded Oro by Nixta, which, of course, isn't likely to fit the bill for Fieri's greasy spoon-focused show.

Fieri also popped into Billy Sushi, run by his friend Enkhbileg “Billy” Tserenbat, who posted about the visit on social media. (Tserenbat is also a co-owner of the just-opened Tender Lovin' Chix , whose fried rice and fried chicken-centric menu does feel like a DDD -style stop.)

Fieri also took time to promote Santo Tequila, a spirits brand he co-founded. He was signing bottles of tequila and posing for pictures at South Lyndale Liquors on Tuesday. (It appears he also got a taste of some hand-delivered Bebe Zito ice cream during the event.)

As for hints about where Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives might have filmed, there are few. However, Fieri posed for a photo with six Minnesota Vikings players who will cameo in the episode. Pizza boxes can be seen in the photo, but no hints as to which of the many lauded pizzerias in the area they might have been trying out.
