Many Minnesota stations and reporters get nominations for 2024 Upper Midwest Emmys

Broadcasters around Minnesota have been recognized for exceptional work over the last year.
The nominees for the 2024 Upper Midwest Regional Emmys have been announced, and it includes dozens of nominations for familiar stations like KARE 11 , KMSP FOX 9, KSTP, WCCO, Rochester's KTTC, Duluth's KBJR, and others.
Among the prestigious awards are nominations for KARE 11 and KMSP FOX 9 in Overall Excellence; KSTP's 5 Eyewitness News, KARE 11 News, and KMSP FOX 9 for News Excellence; and stories from Shelettamakesmelaugh.com, KARE 11, and Lakes Area TV for Community Service.
Local sports teams also grabbed nominations for their work, including the Minnesota Wild's Becoming Wild show and work from Minnesota United FC, the Vikings' Vikings Entertainment Network, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
