At least two dozen people were injured in a hay wagon incident at an apple orchard in western Wisconsin on Wednesday, according to reports.

Chippewa County Sheriff Travis Hakes told WQOW News 18 no one was killed, but said 25 people had been transported to local hospitals.

KSTP reports several mutual aid agencies, including a Mayo Clinic helicopter, responded to the scene at the Bushel and a Peck Market.

According to News 18 , a fire official said the injuries occurred when two hay wagons being pulled by a tractor rolled over Wednesday morning.

There's no word yet on the ages or condition of those injured, but News 18 reports students from St. Mark Lutheran School in Eau Claire were visiting on a field trip at the time of the incident.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
