Second T.J. Hooligan's opens in the Twin Cities

T.J. Hooligan's is expanding.

The Prior Lake bar with an "Irish pub atmosphere," originally opened in 1983, christened a second location in Eden Prairie on Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by its first night of service.

The expansive new space, adorned with bikes on the wall and one mounted from the ceiling, also features a patio, TVs around the room for sports, and already has a version of the Prior Lake location's music bingo on the calendar.

It ports over most of the menu from the Prior Lake location. While slightly pared-down, it retains popular items like the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer and the build-your-own pizza menu.

Hoolie's, as it's known to locals, opens at 6411 City W. Pkwy., the building formerly occupied by Campiello, which closed in 2023 after nearly three decades in the neighborhood. It's currently owned by Michael Newlin, who acquired the business in 2022 when owners Dave Carlson and John Conant retired .

T.J. Hooligan's in Eden Prairie is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, except on Fridays and Saturdays, when it's open until 11:30 p.m.
