Effort to help Ramsey family whose home was destroyed in lightning strike

A Ramsey family whose house caught fire when it was struck by lightning last week is asking for the community’s support.

The Leistico family’s Ramsey home was struck by lightning on Sep. 20, sparking a fire that caused extensive damage to the property.

According to a GoFundMe created to support the family of four, the house is a total loss.

Family members Kevin, Jennifer, Lilly and Eleanore lived in the home. No one was injured in the fire, according to the GoFundMe.

As of Friday, the fundraiser had reached around $2,400 of its $12,000 goal.
