Centro is preparing to celebrate all things corn.

The rapidly expanding Twin Cities taco hub is hosting another installment of Corn Fest at its original location in Northeast Minneapolis next Saturday, Oct. 12. The restaurant promises the fest will celebrate "corn in all its forms."

In addition to tacos, burritos, elote, cornbread, corn dogs, and tortilla chips, the free event will feature live music from Nur-D and Lazy Scorsese.

It's not clear how they'll be embodying corn, but they'll be playing nonetheless. (Is too corny to hope for a cover of that "It's Corn" song or or maybe Korn?)

The festival will also have games, face painting, corn hole, and other family-friendly activities throughout the day.

Corn Fest starts at 2 p.m. with a DJ set at Centro's 1414 Quincy St. NE restaurant, and it'll carry on until 8 p.m.
