Stearns County officials search for missing woman with active warrant

A Stearns County woman with a warrant out for her arrest has been missing since late July, officials say.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says it received a missing person report for 46-year-old Sherrice Shantanya Williams on July 29.

Williams was reportedly last seen in St. Augusta and walked away on her own.

Multiple attempts to find Williams have been unsuccessful, according to the sheriff’s office. It is believed she may be in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Williams currently has a warrant out for her arrest for first-degree damage to property.
