    Two hospitalized, three arrested after shooting in small MN town

    Three suspects have been arrested after a shooting early Monday injured two people in a small town in Itasca County, according to authorities.

    The Itasca County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the incident in the city of Calumet "in the early hours" Monday and located two individuals with gunshot wounds.

    According to the agency, three suspects have been arrested and there's no ongoing risk to the public. The Sheriff's Office also confirmed deputies have recovered the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting.

    One of the victims is currently receiving medical treatment at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital (GICH) in Grand Rapids and second victim was transferred to a Duluth medical facility for additional care.
