Two deaths at Brainerd Lakes area vacation home considered suspicious

Two suspicious deaths at a family vacation home in Crow Wing County are under investigation, according to authorities.

In a brief statement posted on Facebook, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office said deputies began investigating the deaths of a 53-year-old man and 59-year-old woman around 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Sheriff's Office indicated the deaths occurred at a "family vacation home" in Mission Township, but no further details were immediately provided.

Mission Township is located just east of Pelican Lake in the popular resort region.
