Pohlad family reveals intention to sell the Minnesota Twins

The Pohlad family has announced it intends to sell the Minnesota Twins after 40 years of ownership.

The announcement was made Thursday morning, with executive chair Joe Pohlad saying the family has reached the decision "after months of thoughtful consideration."

"After four decades of commitment, passion, and countless memories, we are looking toward the future with care and intention – for our family, the Twins organization, and this community we love so much," Pohlad said.
