Injuries leave Wild without Jared Spurgeon, Joel Eriksson Ek against Jets

The Wild will be without Jared Spurgeon and Joel Eriksson Ek for Sunday night’s game against the Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Eriksson Ek did not travel with the team to Winnipeg, the first of a seven-game road trip, after breaking his nose. Eriksson Ek took an uncalled elbow from the Seattle Kraken’s Adam Larsson in the second period of Saturday night’s shootout loss.

He’s considered day to day.

Spurgeon, on the other hand, played all of Saturday’s game, but was ruled out Sunday due to a lower-body injury. He’s also considered day to day.
