Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis adds spa membership option for locals

Hotel Ivy , which has recently completed the first phase of a renovation , is inviting locals to partake in its amenities.

The hotel's Anda Spa has unveiled a membership program that gives locals a reason to stop in on the regular. It's the first time the Downtown Minneapolis hotel has offered a program like this.

The three-tiered membership program offers spa services as well as access to its steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy tub, Aura Lounge, and Relaxation Lounge. Membership includes a choice between "handcrafted" massages, salt stone massages, and facials that get doled out monthly or bimonthly, depending on the tier.

A 12-month membership starts at $1,050, offering six treatments per year. The top level costs $3,050, serving up 12 treatments annually. Members will also find themselves with perks like 15% off at the hotel's Breva Bar & Grill and Masa & Agave restaurants.

It has a similar feel to The Yard's subscription program for its Kingfield neighborhood lot filled with saunas. Less, of course, the massages and access to tacos and margaritas as Masa & Agave.
