The latest incarnation of spectacular winter attraction that is Ice Castles needs some help getting ready.

On Thursday, Ice Castles announced on Facebook that it is hiring employees for its build crew, offering a pay rate starting at $20 an hour.

Organizers announced earlier this month that it would be relocating to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds this season after spending last winter in Maple Grove.

"Step into a world of ice and magic by joining our team and helping us bring Ice Castles to life this winter," the Facebook post read. "If you're ready for an adventure in the cold and love working with a creative, passionate team, we want YOU! This is your chance to be part of something truly spectacular."

On its online application, Ice Castles says employment for the season can be flexible but generally lasts from late October through early to mid-March. Overnight shifts may also be required.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, able to work outside in the cold, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
