Wewahitchka Lifter Making Plans to Head to Ecuador for Pan Am Youth Games
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -Wewahitchka High School sophomore Mckenzie Hatcher began her weightlifting journey just 5 years ago and she’s already a member of the USA’s Youth Pan American team. ”I started lifting when I was in 7th grade and I had no idea that I would ever be this good.” says the 15 year old lifter. Just a couple weeks ago, Mckenzie won Silver for snatch and Bronze for clean and jerk while securing Bronze for the total in her weight class at USAW Nationals. That performance had her hopeful for a spot in the Pan Ams but she had to wait two and a half weeks until she finally got the confirmation. “It was just kind of like a breath of fresh air that I finally got, like, confirmation that I did that which is super cool. It’s a really cool feeling for sure. Like, it’s been my dream for a while now. It makes me feel very proud of myself that I finally have done something this cool. I’m definitely a little nervous because I usually just kind of stay where I am. I’m not really like a traveler really, but I’m kind of excited to see some new places.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Next Head Coach Will Be Deion Sanders
When I first started watching the NFL during the 2005 Holidays, I quickly learned about Jon Gruden. That 2005 season, Gruden led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their second NFC South title in four seasons. The Buccaneers also won the NFC South in 2002, the same year they won Super Bowl XXXVII. You may have seen NFL Films’s Super Bowl Highlights from that game with Gruden’s famous celebration at the end of the game.
