Wet Wednesday and Thursday but a pattern change is on the way
Panama City Fla. (WMBB) – Rain chances are on the rise again for the middle of the week. A weak system will help add a bit of lift to the panhandle atmosphere. The result will be more widespread showers and storms. I’m still not expecting a wash-out all-day rain but a good chance of the day being a bit wetter than dry on Wednesday and could be repeated on Thursday. Friday and into the weekend will will still hold onto rain chances but they will return to around the normal chance for this time of year. The Atlantic high will build west allowing for more sinking air over the southeast, while it won’t get rid of all the rain it will be a more dry and probably hotter pattern. The tropics remain inactive but with a pattern change coming we will likely start to see changes in the tropics as well. I think by the second week of August we will see changes in the tropics. Right now nothing to worry about out there.
