Burglars are targeting parked cars along Milwaukee Avenue, cops say
CHICAGO — Car burglars are targeting cars parked along or near Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park, Bucktown, and Logan Square, police said Monday. The thieves have been breaking side windows to get inside the vehicles. The thieves then proceed to steal any valuable items they find inside the cars. CPD says the burglars have gotten away with laptops, phones, wallets, musical instruments, clothing, checkbooks, credit cards, cash, purses, bags, and more.
Bears Reunite With Former Linebacker to Start Training Camp
The Chicago Bears were one of the several teams that opened up training camp last week, as fans are excited to see how things will play out in the Windy City this season. The Bears enter training camp this summer with a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, which they couldn’t say last year. With Chicago having many talented players, it will make things harder to pair the roster down from 90 to 53 by the end of the preseason.

One person is dead and two more were injured in a shooting in Chicago's Lawndale neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.The shooting happened near Cermak and Karlov on the West Side.
